Detroit is giving out $3,000 to 3,500 people!

The city distributed more than 50,000 applications for the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing program over the past several days before running out Wednesday morning. Only 3,500 people who qualify will receive the money — a maximum $3,000 per applicant, Dumas said.

Ken Rogulski from WJR was on the scene and interviewed two citizens in Detroit last week.

I love it when I hear the left talk about “Crazy Glenn Beck”. 

I will tell you what’s crazy

His average viewership at 5pm exceeded the combined viewership of his three cable news network competitors every night in September. On six nights he had twice the combined viewership.

Hmmm I wonder how the campaign to get “Beck's advertisers to stop sponsoring his show” is doing?

 

The Indoctrination of Children

I would be terrified to be a mother right now. I am not exactly sure how I would react to this situation if my child was in that little group.

Michelle Malkin has posted this video and a few other post about the brainwashing coming from the left. Another video that your kids are watching in school is this beautiful video from the TIDES Foundation.  What do you think?

Now, however, the CBO has determined that Social Security will run cash deficits next year and in 2011, and by 2016 will be more or less in permanent deficit mode.  Hot Air has exclusively obtained the summer 2009 CBO report sent to legislators on Capitol Hill but not yet made public, which shows that outgo will exceed income for the first time since the 1983 fix on an annual basis in 2010. recently graduated from the University of Michigan, earning her BS with a concentration in Ecology and a double minor in Field Biology & Geography. Despite her scientific background, politics is her true passion. Kristen has always been on the conservative end of the political spectrum – a rarity among college-aged Michiganders – but has never felt the pull of liberalism.
