Hi, I’m Kristen Hawley, I am 26 years old. I have a wonderful boyfriend (Tony)  that I have been dating for close to 3 years. He is my best friend and I love him more than anything! I recently graduated from the University of Michigan, earning my BS with a concentration in Ecology and a double minor in Field Biology & Geography. Despite my scientific background, politics is my true passion. But I also love web design, Adobe products, organizing, talk radio, and chocolate brownies!

My Politics: I am everything liberals hate, I pay my own bills, I don’t use government aid, I have three hand guns and many other rifles and shotguns, against abortion, I’m not a victim, wasteful spending must STOP, I don’t want to pay for your health care, your school, your consumers, your food, or anything of yours! If I can make it so can you… and if you can’t, well that’s not my problem! I promise…. success is so much sweeter when you earn it.

~Angry Female Elephant, To the great relief of my boyfriend and others subjected to my ranting, I developed Angry Female Elephant Blog in October of 2008 as a forum for my political frustration. I have always been on the conservative end of the political spectrum – a rarity among college-aged Michiganders – but never felt the pull of liberalism! On November 5th, 2008,a day when conservatives around the country were still in mourning, I found a new motivation and I promised Tony that I would get more involved.

~ Smart Girl Politics, a grassroots social media networking site committed to providing a conservative community for women to express their opinions and ideas in an open and welcoming environment. I am currently acting as the Director of Operations.
