His average viewership at 5pm exceeded the combined viewership of his three cable news network competitors every night in September. On six nights he had twice the combined viewership.

Hmmm I wonder how the campaign to get “Beck’s advertisers to stop sponsoring his show” is doing?

Palin herself, speaking to U.S. troops in Kosovo, responded Friday with a shot aimed straight for the face — literally.

“Then Sen. John Kerry makes this joke, I don’t know if you saw this, but he makes this joke saying, ‘Aw shoot, of all the governors in the nation who disappeared, too bad it couldn’t have been that governor from Alaska…’” she said.

“But the way he said it, he looked quite frustrated, and he looked so sad, and I just wanted to reach out to the TV and say, ‘John Kerry, why the long face?’”

Why do I carry a gun?

So I’ve been asked this same question at least a hundred times in the last 2 or 3 months… I normally respond with “Why don’t you?” or “Because a whole cop would be too damn heavy!” People usually think I’m kidding but it’s far from a joke. I don’t think I’m a vigilante or some superhero. I just want to be able to protect myself, my loved ones, my friends, or even a stranger in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Why wouldn’t EVERYBODY want that option? The old saying goes “when seconds count, the police are only minutes away”.

What would you do if you witnessed someone being assaulted, brutalized, or even worse?

Hurry! Dial 911……now what?  Watch someone die? Become a target yourself?

The only question that should be asked is

Why don’t you carry a gun???
